Frank Zamora

Painter/ Visual Artist

Frank Zamora is a respected artist and art educator who, until recently, was based in Sacramento, and is known for his impactful teaching in the Fine Arts department at Sacramento City College. His dedication to art education is evident through the positive feedback and high ratings he has received from his students. He is particularly praised for his ability to inspire and guide students in their artistic journey, fostering an environment where creativity and skill development are paramount​​.

While much of his early works explore southwest themes, he later became more interested in the process of "mark making" and explore many other subjects from life and even has produced many purely abstract paintings.


The works shown here are from a private collection and have been exhibited only a few times over the past 30 years.
